NFL football is one of the great American family pastimes. For men, women and children alike, Sundays and Monday nights take on a different meaning during football season. While other sports jerseys, such as hockey and basketball, are also commonly seen being worn by fans, the authentic football jersey is still perhaps the most popular sports-related article of clothing. There’s something about watching a nail-biter of a game while sporting a jersey with the name of your favorite player emblazoned across your back that makes you feel like part of the action.
